He nudges her gently. "Not that rubbish a student." He teases her. She knows he's a good student. Maybe not as fanatical as she could get, but he was a good student. Even his two least favorite subjects get proper time and attention during the school year.
He's comfortable with her against him and doesn't even blink at her being where she is.
"You studying for your OWLs yet?" Granted, that was the end of Fifth Year, but better to start early than late.
